ONE estate agency in Ealing has cut its fees because property is selling so quickly.

"We don't have to do so much work so we're passing on the benefit, " explains Niyta Radia, director of Apple Estates.

The company is currently charging a fixed rate of £1,500 plus VAT for selling any size of flat and £3,500 plus VAT for finding a buyer for any size of house. The usual rule of no sale no fee still applies.

"The market's gone crazy," says the agent. "One and two bedroom flats go straightaway. Everything goes pretty quickly.

"There's a lot of money around. People have so much money."

The office at the junction of Askew Road and Goldhawk Road opposite Ravenscourt Park has properties for sale in Ealing, Acton, Chiswick, Shepherds Bush and Hammersmith.

Niyta sommented"At the moment vendors are getting higher prices but the shortage of property isn't as acute as it was.

"More properties are now starting to come on the market."
