Cadets in Marlow will host a fundraising dinner this weekend as they look to grow their successful operation.
Marlow Sea Cadets, who meet in Wethered Road, will welcome guests including mayor Suzanne Brown and include Squadron Leader Al Smith.
The unit has over 20 cadets who spend much of the summer months rowing and power boating on the River Thames.
Cadets also undertake land-based training such as seamanship, cooking, ceremonial drills, piping, first aid and swimming during the winter months.
Their annual St. George's Night Dinner on Saturday acts a fundraiser and gives the chance for instructors, trustees, parents and supporters to celebrate achievements from the past twelve months.
A registered charity, Sea Cadets has over 14,000 members nationwide.
