Cheerleaders in south Bucks have an extra reason to shake their pom poms after they were picked to represent the UK at a prestigious international championships.
Dance troupes Kobika Starlites and Kobika Dance, with members from across the area, were chosen by the UK Cheerleading Association to take part in the 2015 European Cheerleading Championships 2015 in Croatia.
The cheerleading academy, which already has a national championship win under its belt, will now compete on the international stage in the senior cheer dance category at the event in Zadar, Croatia on June 27 and 28.
Coach Katie Cobie said: “We are thrilled to have been invited and very excited for training to commence.”
Cheerleaders train in High Wycombe, Hazlemere and Marlow, with classes for children aged five and upwards.
