The first Amersham Martyrs guided walk of 2015 takes place tomorrow.

Led by guides dressed in Tudor costume, the walk leads you around various points of interest in the story of the seven martyrs. They were burned at the stake for their religious beliefs 500 years ago.

The walk leaves Amersham Museum in High Street at 2.30 pm and usually takes just over two hours to complete. It costs £2.50, or £4 for a joint walk and museum visit ticket, to be used on different days. The cost for children is £1, while it is free for the under-5s and dogs. No booking is necessary – just turn up, whatever the weather.

Subsequent walks are on the last Saturday of every month, up to the end of September.
