A man was taken to hospital suffering from burns following a fire in Chalfont St Giles last night.
Firefighters were called to the first-floor maisonette, in Seymour Road, at 11.10pm.
The maisonette was severely damaged by fire and two other maisonettes were damaged by smoke.
Bucks Fire and Rescue Service said a man was taken to hospital suffering from burns and the effects of breathing in smoke.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
Crews from Amersham and Beaconsfield attended the blaze.
Firefighters used two hose reels, four sets of breathing apparatus and a PPV (positive pressure ventilation) fan.
