1. Alastair Penman - the classical saxophone
Part of Marlow Festival of Wind and Brass Music. While the saxophone is often thought of as a jazz instrument, in this programme Alastair explores the extensive classical repertoire for the instrument, including Debussy’s Rapsodie. 2. Robin Ince
Blooming Buzzing Confusion is the follow up to Robin’s previous show In (and out of) His Mind. He is continuing to prod his audience’s brain, to try and work out just how much free will anyone can have. 3. Family fun day
The Black Lion hosts a family fun day, supporting Macmillan Cancer Support. During the daytime there will be a bouncy castle, penalty shoot out, face painting, kids lucky dip, bake off, BBQ and tombola. 4. Posh Frock, Whistle and Flute and Gee Gees
The Chilterns MS Centre will be bringing horse racing back to Pendley Manor. Our black tie race night – an evening of Ascot style high society – will be held in the fully accessible and beautiful venue of Pendley Manor, a grade II listed hotel. Guests will enjoy a sumptuous three course dinner with wine. 5. BECCMARK Bourne End community and craft market
Dozens of stalls offering a varied range of home-spun produce from delicious eatables to creative gift ideas, garden produce, plants and ornaments. In addition there will be health and beauty products from Forever Living and Avon, fresh coffee from Java The Hut and the monthly charity tombola - raising funds for local charities.
