One of south Bucks’ most successful companies will be celebrating throughout this month as they mark their 30th anniversary of being in business.

Prize draws, free champagne for customers and fun and games for staff will all feature throughout the month of May at Hazlemere Windows, as the firm celebrates three decades of being in business.

Rachel Young from Banbury was one of the firm’s many happy customers this month as she was picked out as the winner of a prize draw on May 1, receiving £1,000 of vouchers and a bottle of Moet as part of Hazlemere Windows’ celebrations.

As well as her, 30 other winners who have all been customers of the company over the past three decades were selected at random and given a cash prize.

It’s not just the customers who have been celebrating though – there have been plenty of reasons for the staff to be cheerful as well.

Mark Austin, the company’s sales and marketing director, said: “Every single day in the factory and head office there has been a competition with a prize. We’ve had crazy golf, football, rounders.

“The staff, as well as the customers, are very much the reason for our success, and they are being rewarded for being with us.

“It culminates on May 30 with all the staff invited to a gala dinner at the Crowne Plaza in Marlow, which is hosted by Alan Parry.”

Reflecting on the company’s successes over the last 30 years, Mr Austin said: “More than anything, we offer peace of mind.

“We don’t take deposits from customers – they haven’t got anything to pay until we put the product in, which not a lot of people in the industry do these days.

“We measure it right, make it right and fit it right – that’s what we do. We have the confidence in our ability to do that.

“We’re a family owned and run firm and there’s stability in the staff.

“So many people have been here for over 20 years.”

The bubbly will be flowing again this weekend as the firm will be holding open days at its showroom – which is soon set for a major refurbishment – in Wellington Road on the Cressex Business Park.

The showroom will be open from 10am-4pm on both days as the company extends its usual Sunday business hours.

As well as free champagne and refreshments, giveaways and goody bags will be available and there will be a 30 per cent reduction on the cost of all UPVC windows, doors and conservatories.

Two more prize draws with a free door up for grabs will take place on September 1 and December 14, for any customers who buy something from Hazlemere Windows during the year.
