Timeline: how the vandalism attacks unfolded in High Wycombe

March 3:

• Windows on 23 vehicles were smashed and the letters "NJNP" (thought to stand for "No justice, no peace") were spray painted down the side of cars in the first attack.

March 4:

• A further 30 vehicles were damaged in the Cressex, Booker and Sands estates the following day.

March 9:

• Following a weekend of attacks, police announced a total of 136 vehicles had been damaged.
• Horse patrols were seen in the town as specialist dog units were also drafted in.

March 23:

• 10 more vehicles were confirmed to have been damaged the previous night with a handful of others vandalised in the previous weeks.

March 27:

• Police invited BFP reporters to join them on patrol as horse units returned.
• Officers said the latest attacks were no longer believed to be related to the Habib Ullah inquest.

April 3:

• The total number of vehicles damaged passed the 200 mark as some residents revealed their vehicles had been targeted a second time.

April 16:

• Four men appeared in court after being charged with offences related to the vandalism of 247 vehicles – they remain in custody.

April 20:

• Police confirm the total amount of vehicles damaged reached 250.

April 30:

• Two men riding a motorcycle damaged eight vehicles and then targeted a further 10 on May 4.

May 11:

• 36 vehicles were damaged in the Castlefield and Booker areas.

- On Friday, 20-year-old Waqar Jamil from Alford Road was charged by police with conspiring to destroy or damage property in High Wycombe He appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and was remanded in custody to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on May 18.

The charge relates to the damage of a number of vehicles in High Wycombe between March 3 and May 4.

- Four more men appeared at Aylesbury Crown Court on Monday, April 20 charged with 247 offences.

Iftikar Aslam, 22, of Desborough Road, 20-year-old Waqas Yasin and 19-year-old Khurum Hanif, both of Rutland Avenue, and a 17-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons, all appeared in court and were remanded in custody until July 6.
