An interactive map showing the location of problem potholes across south Bucks is filling up quickly as residents continue to report the hazards using a new online app.
Buckinghamshire County Council launched the ‘Report It’ service on its website in September for drivers to flag up the worst areas on the county’s ravaged roads.
In eight months since going live, motorists in High Wycombe have reported over 50 trouble spots in the town centre alone, with more being added all the time.
And it is a similar story across the rest of the area, with 13 in central Marlow, 25 in Chesham and Amersham and 15 in Princes Risborough - nine of them within a few hundred metres.
Transport for Buckinghamshire say they use the information to decide on which sites to prioritise during scheduled and emergency works.
Spokesman Dan Elworthy said: "The data collected is used to assist inspectors when locating the pothole and allows them to compare the reported information to what they find on site.
"Decisions on repair are made following the inspection."
Last week, the county council announced that £3m has been allocated to pay for a 12-month programme of 'plane and patch' work to resurface badly worn sections of roads in around 300 locations, mainly on rural routes.
