RESIDENTS are being urged to have their green fingers ready to help Gerrards Cross in its bid to be crowned the county’s Best Kept Village.

Members of the Town Council are encouraging residents and business owners to get together to help improve the appearance of their properties and areas like the commons.

The council has entered Gerrards Cross into the Buckinghamshire Best Kept Village Competition, with judging taking place next month.

ENTERTAIN the kids with a music show with a difference, featuring costumes, fancy dress, trolls and dinosaurs.

Bassoonist Rebecca Hammond and pianist Elena Kiseleva will be providing the entertainment for youngsters at BeeMusic’s latest performance at St Michael’s Church Hall in Grenfell Road, Beaconsfield, at 10am on Monday, June 1.

Tickets are £10 on the door or a pound cheaper if bought in advance from www.beemusic.co.uk. A block of three tickets for further performances on June 2 and July 7 cost £24.
