Two men have been arrested in connection with a robbery which saw a taxi driver punched by a customer with a knuckle duster in Haddenham.
The taxi driver had dropped off five men in Sheerstock, at the Thame Road junction, at around 3.20am on Monday, May 25.
One of the men, who was wearing a knuckle duster, demanded money before hitting and smashing the driver’s side window and then punching the driver.
The 39-year-old taxi driver handed over the money.
He had to be treated by his GP for cuts and bruises after the attack.
Thames Valley Police confirmed that a 20-year-old man from Buckinghamshire and a 23-year-old man from Henley have been arrested in connection with the offence.
They have been released on police bail until June 22.
