Radio 5 live presenter Rachel Burden is to return to her former school in High Wycombe to talk to pupils tomorrow afternoon.

The Breakfast Show presenter will be heading back to Wycombe High School on Tuesday to speak to students as part of a series of inspiring lunchtime talks.

Rachel studied English, History, Politics and Music, took part in athletics, music and drama productions and was President of the Sixth Form during her time as a pupil at the school in Marlow Road.

She left Wycombe High in 1993 and went on to secure a dream job in radio.

The presenter said: "I'm childishly excited about returning to my old school for the first time in 22 years and looking forward to meeting the current and former staff and pupils.

"It was a very happy time in my life when I learnt about friendship, community, and how to scrub graffiti off a desk...among many other things.

"I'm sure I'll have more questions for the students than they will for me."

Headteahcer Sharon Cromie said: "We are incredibly grateful to Rachel for giving up her valuable time to speak to our students, staff and parents.

"Rachel is a remarkable woman and role model for all inspiring young journalists and budding broadcasters."
