A music festival at a Marlow school next month will see pupils past and present take to the stage to show off their talents on the outdoor stage.

‘Summer Unplugged’ takes over Colonel’s Meadow at Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School on Thursday, July 9 featuring a range of acts and entertainment.

The evening festival will feature current Borlase musicians but also notable alumni successes including Old Borlasians Dave Shannon and Chris Weeks, both now professional musicians.

The Parents Association is running a fully licensed bar stocked with wine, beer and soft drinks.

As well as a creperie, students will be selling popcorn and candyfloss and running other activities such as face painting and mask making. Guests are urged to bring along something to sit on, and are able to supply their own picnic alongside drinks from the bar.

Tickets cost £8 for adults and £4 for students and can be purchased from www.positickets.co.uk
