The headteacher of a six-year-old girl who died after being hit by a tractor in North Wales has paid tribute to the ‘enthusiastic, caring’ little girl.

Teal Amelia David, who was a pupil at Frieth Church of England Combined School, suffered fatal injuries in the collision on an unclassified road in Aberdaron, North Wales.

Officers from North Wales Police were called to the scene at 8.38am on Saturday, June 27.

Headteacher, Mrs Jo Reid, said: "It is with great sadness that we have heard of the tragic death of one of our pupils, Teal David, this weekend.

“Teal was a much loved member of our school community. She was a positive, enthusiastic, caring, talented, bright pupil who will be sadly missed.

"Our hearts, condolences and prayers are with her family and friends at this very difficult time.

"As a school, our priority is now to support the family and the pupils, parents, staff, governors and members of the wider community through this time of grief.

“There will be no further comment at this time."
