Sporty Marlovians are being urged to share their opinions on the quality of leisure facilities available in the town.

Wycombe District Council is asking Marlow residents to air their views on sport pitches, courts and activities in Marlow – with questions predominately focused on Court Garden Leisure Complex.

The six-week survey - available on the council’s website and in paper form at the leisure centre or Marlow Information Centre - closes on August 2.

Cllr Julia Adey, WDC’s Cabinet Member for Community, said: "It’s been over 40 years since Court Garden first opened its doors to the public and over that time it has become a well-used facility.

"We want to know if residents and sports clubs are still happy with the mix of facilities on offer in the complex, or if they would like to see changes or improvements made in the future.

"I would encourage everyone who uses the centre to complete a survey and tell us what they like and what they’d want to improve – and for those who don’t use it to tell us why not."

The council will appoint a consultant to scrutinise the survey results and use the findings as part of a review into the long-term future of sport and leisure facilities on offer around Higginson Park.

The report will be completed and published by the end of the year.
