Thousands of people enjoyed a fun packed weekend of displays at the annual Chiltern Steam Rally.

The popular festival, organised by the Chiltern Traction Engine Club kicked off on Saturday, July 4 and brought in thousands of enthusiasts over the weekend.

Visitors marvelled at 40 Steam Traction engines ranging from the 1900 to 1930s, 60 Classic cars, 45 lorries and 50 miniatures, models and collectables as they paraded around the main arena.

A display of motorcycles also rumbled around the grounds at midday and a selection of vintage cars, including a Model T Ford wowed the audience.

A working area even demonstrated how the traction engines were used to power machinery and move heavy loads.

The crowds cooled off from the sun at the beer tent and marquees selling food and crafts.

Children were catered for with steam powered fairground rides and organ displays.
