Two men arrested after masked robber raids bookmakers’ shop
Two men have been arrested after a masked intruder stole cash from a bookmakers’ shop.
Staff at Coral Racing in North Orbital Road, Denham, were threatened after someone gained entry to the building at 6.30pm on Sunday, before stealing a “substantial” amount of cash.
Detectives have since arrested a 21-year-old man from Hillingdon on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery and on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug of class B - cannabis / cannabis resin.
A 26-year-old man from Maple Cross was also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery.
Both men were arrested on Monday and have now been bailed until 13 August.
