A cyclist suffered serious head injuries after a collision with a lorry on the M40 in the early hours of the morning.
The 23-year-old man is in a critical but stable condition following the crash between junction 8 and 7, at around 3.50am on Monday.
The injured cyclist, who was travelling towards London, was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital.
Investigating officer Sgt Beth Walton, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision or the cyclist and lorry before the collision. Any detail however small could assist with the investigation.”
