A Wild West-themed fair and craft market at Missenden Abbey saw almost 900 people join in the fun.

To mark the 30th anniversary of Rennie Grove Hospice Care, residents were invited to take part in the many activities on offer, including line dancing and a rodeo bull.

There were also more than 60 craft stalls hosted in Great Missenden on the day as families were given the opportunity to embrace the whacky theme.

A number of visitors dressed-up in a bid to play the part and with a bouncy castle, games and many other fun activities there was no tumbleweed in sight.

Director of Fundraising & Marketing at Rennie Grove, Gillian Barnett, said: “We’re so grateful to everyone who made the day a success.

“A big thank you also to the team at Missenden Abbey for helping us mark our 30-year milestone with a fantastic event that will have raised invaluable funds and awareness.”

The event was supporting the hospice charity in its 30th anniversary year and raising “vital” funds and awareness for its 24-hour responsive service providing specialist care in patients’ homes.
