A teenager’s skull was fractured after a group of men repeatedly punched and kicked him in a late night attack on Friday.

The 18-year-old man was attacked by a group of five or six men, who had previously been shouting abuse at the victim’s girlfriend, at about 11.30pm.

The attack happened in Packhorse Road and police say it is possible the attackers had been at a village fair earlier in the evening.

After the initial verbal abuse a physical confrontation escalated and the victim was assaulted.

He sustained a fractured skull and was treated at Wexham Park Hospital, Slough. He has since been discharged.

Investigating officer, Det Con Steve West of Force CID based at Aylesbury police station, said: “There was a fair on the West Common and the group of offenders were walking from that direction. Therefore, it is possible the offenders had come from the fair.
