A Marlow paper-boy - possibly the fastest in Bucks - is seeking sponsorship to help him continue his impressive triathlon career.

Gifted athlete Sebastian Garry, 16, has already experienced impressive sporting successes.

As well as snapping up first place in this year’s MarlowFM 10k run, he has also achieved second place in the British Sprint Triathlon Championships in March and fourth place in June’s European Aquathlon.

Seb is coached by Perry Agass, a leading international triathlon coach, and is currently training hard after qualifying to represent Great Britain in the under 20s category at the European Triathlon Championships, set to take place in Chicago in September 2016.

He has already received support from cycling organisation Pedal Potential, but is keen to secure further money to help him fulfil his dreams.

Seb's mother Ann Garry said: “Seb’s training is intense since he needs to cover all three disciplines of swimming, cycling and running.

"He is actively contacting businesses with a view to sponsorship to help him continue in the sport he loves.

"On top of his training, he has managed to continue with his weekly early morning paper round for D&J News. He could well be the fastest paper boy in Bucks.

"Seb would love the opportunity to speak to other potential sponsors as there is no central funding for triathletes at this stage. His kit, training and travel costs are significant, especially for the overseas events.”
