Detectives have issued an e-fit of a man they want to speak to in connection with a stranger danger scare in south Buckinghamshire.

An 11-year-old girl reported to police that she was approached by a man who offered her sweets and appeared to try and invite her to his house.

The incident occurred in Farnham Common on Beaconsfield Road at the junction with Scott Close at about 8.30am on Friday, June 5.

Police said the man asked the girl if she wanted sweets and then said he had lots of sweets at his home.

The victim, who was not injured during the incident, then ran from the scene The alleged offender has been described as white, in his thirties or forties, about 5ft 6ins and slim to medium build.

He was wearing a blue tie, blazer, dark trousers, brown shoes and a red baseball cap.

Investigating officer Det Con Melanie Frost of Local CID based at Aylesbury police station, said: “If anyone recognises the man in the e-fit or the description of the offender then please contact police immediately by visiting your nearest police station or by calling 101.
