Police are warning Beaconsfield residents to be aware of a man who has reportedly been marking doors of homeowners with dogs.
Thames Valley Police has received reports of a man knocking on people's front doors asking for a tow bar.
The man has then reportedly marked the entrances to houses with dogs inside.
On their Twitter account, Thames Valley Police South Bucks advised residents to be aware and call 101 to report anything suspicious.
