A man has been charged after two cars, jewellery, a television and electronics were stolen during a series of thefts across south Buckinghamshire.

Three other men have been arrested following burglaries and thefts in Chesham and Chalfont St Peter between Friday, July 24 and Thursday, July 30.

Police said offenders broke into homes, stole car keys and then stole the associated vehicles.

The vehicles that were taken include a Mercedes Benz and a BMW, which have been recovered.

A variety of other suspected stolen items were also recovered such as jewellery, a television, iPads and car keys.

The offences took place in Cross Lanes, Chalfont St Peter, Green Lane, Chesham Bois, and

Penn Avenue, Chesham.

Daniel Eduardo, 25, of Beechcroft, Chesham, has been charged with three counts of burglary and three counts of thefts of motor vehicles.

He was arrested on Thursday (July 30) and charged on Saturday (August 1). He has been released on bail and is due to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, September 3.

The three other men, including a 32-year old, 25 year-old and 23-year-old, all from the Chesham area, were arrested in connection with the same offences and have been released on bail until Friday, September 11.
