A man charged on suspicion of murdering a father of two in High Wycombe town centre appeared in court today alongside two other people charged in connection with the killing.

Lee Gillespie was stabbed to death in Church Street, near High Wycombe High Street, at about 8.50pm on Saturday night. His family say he will be missed by all.

Last night, police charged two men from Ealing and a woman from Beaconsfield in connection with the alleged murder.

Martin Stanislaus, 37, of Delta Grove, Northolt, Ealing, was charged on suspicion of one count of murder.

Leigh Burns, aged 37, of Willcott Road, Ealing, and Jodie Willis, aged 36, of The Mead, Beaconsfield, have both been charged on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

The three people were all arrested on Sunday and have been remanded in custody to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court this morning.

A 30-year-old man from Beaconsfield who was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder was bailed.

They all appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court and only spoke to confirm their names, address and date of birth.

Each suspect has been remanded in custody until they appear at Reading Crown Court on Friday.

Following Mr Gillespie's death, hundreds of tributes have been posted online with flowers and messages also left at the scene.

Residents and visitors of the town have been shocked by the attack, with a large cordon remaining in place while detectives continue their investigation.

Officers have also been in the area in a bid to reassure residents, with Chief Inspector Rebecca Mears speaking of her 'shock and sorrow' following the alleged murder.
