A High Wycombe man has been convicted of sexual activity with a child.
Garfield Mushore, aged 18, previously of Grenfell Avenue, High Wycombe, pleaded guilty at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday.
Thames Valley Police detectives say the conviction relates to an incident involving a 14-year-old on June 8, 2012, in High Wycombe. The defendant was aged 15 at the time of the incident.
Investigating officer, Det Insp Sally Spencer from High Wycombe Local CID, said: “This conviction relates to an investigation by High Wycombe Force CID targeting sexual offences on young women.
“I would like to thank the victim and witnesses who attended court to give evidence for the courage they have shown in speaking out against this behaviour.
“We take every report of a sexual offence seriously and I urge anyone who has been a victim to contact us so that we can to bring offenders to justice.”
The sentencing of Mushore is due to take place on September 11.
