A female driver who died in a car crash on Tuesday evening has been named as Alison Kelly by the coroner's court.

The 29-year-old was living and working near Amersham, but was originally from Hampshire.

An inquest into her death was opened today by Buckinghamshire Coroner's Service, but adjourned to a later date that is yet to be confirmed.

Alison died in a three-car collision on the A355 Amersham Road at around 6.36pm on Tuesday.

Another driver, a male, remains in a serious but stable condition in Royal London Hospital.

Touching tributes and flowers have been left at the scene of the crash, with one card reading: “You were a truly inspirational girl who will leave a huge hole in our hearts. We will be thinking of you always.

"Our thoughts go out to your family to have lost such an amazing person.”
