Bourne End Nursery celebrated its 10th birthday in style by holding a tea party for past and present parents and children.

Over 100 children and adults, including ex- staff, all joined together to enjoy the entertainment at the Nursery on August 15, where ‘Mr Marvel’ showed off his best magic tricks.

After the magical excitement guests then took to the dance floor for a bubble disco, which was followed by a speech by nursery owner, Ruth Bowles, thanking her guests and welcoming the old new children, parents and staff.

Nursery Manager Nicky Rowe said: “It was a lovely day; it was so nice seeing everyone including all the old children and Ruth was in awe of it all. It was a really well turned out day.

“We’re looking forward to carrying on being part of the community and keeping children happy.”

A presentation was also made by Miss Bowles to staff for their service to the nursery, congratulating some on their dedication to the Nursery over the past 10 years.
