Fashion-savvy fundraisers are taking to the catwalk to raise money for charity.

Rennie Grove Hospice Care has teamed up with clothing brand Jigsaw to put on a charity fashion show at the The Compleat Angler hotel in Marlow on September 4.

As well as a catwalk show, presenting clothes for men, women and children, there will be stalls from many notable brands including Beehive Treats and Jo Jo Maman Bebe.

Jenny Street, from the Amersham and High Wycombe branch of the charity said: “We discussed fundraising events earlier in the year and someone suggested a fashion show which we thought was worth pursuing.”

“The hotel very kindly offered us a room to use for free for the show, and Jigsaw jumped at the chance to let use their clothes.”

“We’re just hoping we can see as many people there as possible, it’s for such a worthy cause.”

Rennie Grove Hospice Care is a charity that provides care and support for patients in Herts and Bucks who have been diagnosed with life limiting illnesses.

So far 50 tickets have been sold, but organisers are hoping fill the room and sell 90 overall.

Tickets are £20 and include a glass of wine. Contact Jenny Street on 01494 713496 or jenny.street@virgin.net for more information.
