It’s close to home, really friendly. It’s the best village pub, the people are great and it is always consistently good.
What is better about this pub compared to others?
The people are so warm and inviting, it’s generally very busy and there is always someone you can come in and speak to. You could come in by yourself, but you wouldn’t be by yourself for long.
What is the food and drink like?
They are both great. There are home-cooked specials everyday and lunchtimes are particularly busy.
Do you have a favourite place to sit?
No, I’m not fussy.
Do you have a favourite drink?
Brandy and coffee.
