Budding sporting stars can sign up for a new term at the Aaron West Goalkeeping Academy, which starts next week.

The academy was set up in memory of Aaron, a former Amersham School pupil who died from a rare form of cancer in 2010.

The first sessions starts from September 7 and sessions will be tailored for towards the ages and ability of those involved.

The academy is open for both boys and girls and at all levels and coaches are offering a free trial for Monday evening.

From 5pm to 6pm, children aged seven to 10 are invited to play. 11 to 13-year-olds will play between 6pm and 7pm, and 14 to 18-year-olds can take part from 7pm to 8pm.

The sessions take place in the grounds of Amersham Hill, in Stanley Hill.
