Bus passengers who buy weekly tickets on the Route 1 service from High Wycombe to Amersham and Chesham will be able to catch the first bus that comes along from now on.
The new Route 1 Pass can be used on both Carousel and Arriva buses on the route, after a partnership between Buckinghamshire County Council and Arriva and Carousel bus services paved the way for a co-ordinated timetable.
Mark Shaw, Cabinet Member for Transport, said: 'The joint timetable has been a big success and passengers on the route have enjoyed a much improved service. The new weekly ticket is another great development for bus passengers.'
The new ticket will be introduced on a trial basis between the 1st of September and the 31st December. It will be carefully assessed and a decision made on whether to make the ticket permanent.
Weekly tickets cost £20 for an adult and £15 for a student or child.
