A neighbourhood group which meets in a bid to help stamp out crime is looking for a new chairman.
Current Chepping Wye Valley Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) chairman Alex Slater, who is also Hazlemere Parish Council chairman, is stepping down from the role after two years.
The NAG, which covers Flackwell Heath, Loudwater, Tyler’s Green and Hazlemere, meets with police officers to discuss concerns and issues every six weeks.
According to Thames Valley Police the groups should be a proactive part of the community and it is hoped that more young people will sign up to be involved.
Cllr Slater will leave the role as chairman when the group meet on Thursday at Flackwell Heath Community Library in Chapel Road.
The meeting will start at 7.30pm.
If you would like to join the NAG contact Alex Slater on alex.slater12@btinternet.com or Sgt Mat Lloyd on matthew.lloyd@thamesvalley.pnn.police.uk
