Drivers in High Wycombe generously donated almost £750 to charity at a Bucks Fire and Rescue car wash at the weekend.
Firefighters at the St Mary Street station swapped their ladders and engines for a bucket and soap on Sunday afternoon, offering to clean cars of passing-motorists in the town.
The event raised £741 for the Fire Fighters Charity, which supports serving and retired fire personnel.
