Three convicts have had their sentences extended after a hoard of drugs was found near to where a shooting happened in High Wycombe.

Following the gun-attack at Lucas Woods in May 2014, officers searched the area and found 119 wraps of heroin, 22 packages of cocaine and 60 packages of cannabis near to Underwood Road.

Umar Hussain, aged 20, of Underwood Road, Akeel Hussain, aged 20, of Wheelers Park, and Usaman Hussain, aged 18, of Underwood Road were all sentenced in connection with the supply of heroin, cocaine and cannabis, at Aylesbury Crown Court on Wednesday.

Umar Hussain, was sentenced to 12 months’ imprisonment, Usaman Hussain was sentenced to 25 weeks’ imprisonment and Akeel Hussain had his sentence increased by 22 months.

All the men’s sentences will run consecutive to any other periods of detention to which the defendant was subject prior to the making of this order, police confirmed.

A fourth man Adnan Talukdar, 21, of Buckingham Drive, was found not guilty by a unanimous jury.

Investigating Officer, Det Con Andy Hall, from Force CID based at High Wycombe police station, said: “This was a long and complex investigation in connection with a shooting.

“The sentencing shows that those who attempt to deal drugs in High Wycombe will not be tolerated, and should act as a deterrent to others who think they can perpetrate this kind of criminal activity.”
