More than 200 runners helped raise money for South Bucks Hospice at an event in Black Park, south of Gerrards Cross, on Sunday.
It is estimated that the South Bucks 10k Road Race - the sixth annual one of its kind - raised over £1,000 for the hospice through donations and sponsorship of the runners.
The overall winner was Mark Harris, 30, who completed the 10k in 33 minutes 19 seconds.
Sasha Birkin was the first woman to cross the line in a time of 39 minutes 29 seconds.
The Hospice was represented in the race by volunteer ambassador Chris Jordan and his wife, Jilly, a South Bucks District Councillor.
Jo Woolf, the Hospice’s CEO, said: “It was a magnificent day and I was very pleased and proud that our charity was chosen to be the beneficiary for this fantastic race.
“I am full of admiration for the 210 runners who took part. The money they have raised for us will be used to support our patients with life-limiting conditions.”
