Developer Taylor Wimpey’s annual report has been shortlisted for an award for how it reports its directors’ remuneration.

The company was nominated by the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA), the professional body for governance, and will be competing for the title of ‘Best Remuneration Disclosure, FTSE 100 company’ against Tesco, Hammerson and National Grip.

Now in their seventh year, the ICSA Awards reward excellence through an assessment of governance disclosure in companies’ annual reports.

Peter Swabey, ICSA's Policy and Research Director, says: "The calibre of entries for this year's awards shows just how seriously companies are taking remuneration reporting in the face of increased public scrutiny.

“It is to be applauded that they recognise the importance of transparent reporting. I look forward to hearing which company has won at our awards ceremony in London on 1 December."
