A 16-year-old boy is in a critical condition after a car crash in St Albans this morning.
Police were called to Marshal's Drive at 2am after a black Vauxhall Astra crashed into a parked camper van and pushed it into fencing in a front garden of a house.
The teenager suffered a serious head injury and has been taken to St Mary's Hospital in London, where he remains in a critical condition.
The road was closed until 9am.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information about the crash. Anyone who can assist the police should call 101.
