A professional actor from Princes Risborough helped Peter Andre and his dance partner Janette Manrara achieve the highest score of the series as they performance the Charleston on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing last Saturday.

Adam Borzone from Owlswick, who is also the Vice Chairman of the British Music Hall Society, was brought in as an expert on Vaudeville inspired Charleston to help the pair.

Mr Borzone, who trained at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, said: "It was fantastic.

“Obviously Jeanette is top of her game and it was great to meet Peter because he is someone you see on TV all the time.

“They key to the dance is timing - they need to be doing the same thing. It requires perfect timing throughout.

Mr Bozone appeared in the very first Wycombe Swan Summer Project - Bugsy Malone in 1993 – aged 18 playing Dandy Dan.

“Back then I really hadn't had much experience. My parents saw the audition queue and thought I didn’t have a hope in hell!

"My mum and dad still go to the Summer Project every single year - they have not missed one.

"I've been back hundreds of times. The Wycombe Swan feels like part of our family now.”
