The owner of a vicious dog which seriously injured a woman and mauled her pet to death has pleaded guilty to an offence under the Dangerous Dogs Act.

On July 11, High Wycombe resident Sarah Maulicino’s pet mastiff ran towards the 42-year-old victim and attacked her pet, a long-haired Chihuahua, while she was walking in Buckingham Drive.

During the incident the mastiff caused serious injuries to the victim’s right hand and left arm, before running off and into a property in nearby Tilling Crescent.

The victim’s Chihuahua died during the incident.

Maulicino, 42, of Tilling Crescent, High Wycombe, pleaded guilty at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court yesterday to a charge of being the person in charge of a dangerous dog which caused injury.

She was released on unconditional bail to appear at the court on Tuesday, November 24.
