A Marlow primary school opened its outdoor classroom last week to mark the beginning of the ‘lasting legacy’ of the school.
The head boy and head girl at St Peter’s Primary School, on Prospect Road, cut the ribbon on Friday, November 20 in front of an array of parents and children.
The school's gardening club, class reps and teachers also planted eight fruit trees which were funded by donations from each class.
Assistant head teacher, Jennifer Boyle said: “It was a fantastic event, to mark the beginning of a lasting legacy at the school.
Thanks to all those that came to support and make donations to the gardening fund. Thanks also must go to the PTA for providing delicious refreshments for all.”
