A South Bucks district councillor has resigned from his cabinet role with immediate effect.
Cllr Cllr David Anthony has resigned as the resources portfolio holder due to personal reasons, but will remain as a member of the council representing Farnham and Hedgerley.
Councillor Trevor Egleton will take over the role and cllr Paul Kelly, who is currently the vice-chairman of the council, will step down from this role and join the cabinet, taking the healthy communities portfolio.
The election of a new Vice Chairman will take place at the next full council meeting on February 23.
Leader of the Council, Cllr Ralph Bagge said: "I’d like to thank David for his contribution in particular for exploring more attractive investment options for our cash balances, improving analysis and reporting of our golf and leisure activity and for his strong focus on the Council’s balance sheet and reserves."
