A 24-hour gaming marathon in Wooburn Green raised over £4,000 for a special needs charity this weekend.
Around 30 gamers from Complete IT took to their offices in Glory Park on Saturday and played computer games for 24-hours raising £4627 for special needs charity Mencap.
CIT’s marketing manager, Jessica Symondson, said: “We decided on Mencap because of the wonderful ways they help people with learning difficulties.”
“Their scheme of helping people with learning difficulties go onto work placements was something, as a company, we must support”.
The company has raises money for a different charity every four years, previous events including bike rides and climbing Mount Snowdon.
