Each year crews battle it out to be crowned the ultimate dragon boat champion (55301279)
Marlow Dragon Boat Festival will make its return for the 16th year running in June.
The event – which dominates the second day of the town’s regatta – will see teams adorned in fancy dress take to the Thames battle it out to become the ultimate dragon boat champions on Sunday, June 12.
No experience is necessary to join a team, and with entries now open organisers Dragons Alive are encouraging new squads to join and take the crown.
Prices start at £350 or £250 for juniors and entry for spectators will be free with an array of other events taking place on the day.
