Glory Mill Bowls club, based on Glory Mill Lane in Wooburn Green is currently on the hunt for new members for the coming season. It has currently entered two teams in the Bucks League and one team in the Chiltern & Thames League. Club organisers have promised to provide regular games and coaching for beginners. Community craft market Beccmark will be celebrating its fifth anniversary at Bourne End Library on Saturday, February 13. Food producers, bakers, hobbyists and many more will be selling their goods at the anniversary market, which is usually held on the second Saturday of every month from 10am-1pm.

The Probus Club of Bourne End and Cookham meets on the third Wednesday of each month at The Grovefield House Hotel on Taplow Common Road in Burnham. Members meet at 12:15 and are served a two course meal at around 1pm which is followed by a guest speaker. The annual subscription is £12 and the monthly meeting fee is £19. The Irene Laksine Gallery has officially opened in Cookham and features a range of the French artist’s abstract work, most of which are for sale. The gallery, on Cookham High Street, will be open on Wednesday to Friday from 10 to 4pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 4pm.

The Mongolia House Gardens on Grange Drive in Wooburn will be open to the public from Sunday, March 6 for a snowdrop and spring garden viewing. Entry is £3 or free for children and light refreshments will be available and visits on other days will only be available by appointment. For more information call 01628525818.
