A fast-growing children’s stationery store aims to make the Eden Shopping Centre “fun” when it is officially opened on Friday.
One lucky shopper will be given the opportunity to cut the ribbon on the new store, near HMV, which will be the company’s 43rd in the UK.
John Cheston, Smiggle’s managing director said: “It’s important to us to inject fun into everything we do – from product design to store design, we will always focus on delivering to our fans the most original and playful stationery possible.”
There is bundles of creative fun planned for the opening, including double craver saver stamps, giveaways and more.
Eden’s centre director, Daniel Tomkinson, said: “We’re delighted to welcome children’s stationer Smiggle to Eden this week. It’s a fantastic brand that complements our exciting and expanding family offer.”
The Eden Shopping Centre will be the brand’s first store opening of 2016. With 100 stores anticipated to be up and running in the UK by the end of 2016, it’s set to be a busy year for Smiggle.
