Three teenagers were arrested on Saturday following a Wycombe Wanderers home match against Luton Town.

Thames Valley Police has today confirmed that the trio were arrested on suspicion of using threatening or abusive words with intent to cause fear.

More than 4,500 people attended the League Two fixture at Adams Park, which Wanderers lost 1-0.

Jay Sharpe, a 19-year-old from Luton, was later charged by officers and has been bailed to appear back at Wycombe Magistrates Court on March 8.

A 17-year-old boy from Cambridgeshire, who cannot be named for legal reasons, received a youth caution for one count of using threatening and abusive/insulting words with intent to cause fear.

An 18-year-old man from Aylesbury was arrested on suspicion of the same offence as the two other men.

He has been released on bail until March 5.
