More than 300 young musicians starred in a music-making concert at High Wycombe’s Royal Grammar School last week.
Children from south Buckinghamshire music academies and orchestras joined school students for the special performance on Friday.
The afternoon exploring the world of recorders and strings culminated in a dynamic presentation by Chiltern Music Academy ensembles, school groups and the world-class group Red Priest.
As part of the first visit to High Wycombe, the musicians led sectional rehearsals with the Chiltern Music Academy Symphony Orchestra.
The Chiltern Music Academy, a charity launched in High Wycombe in 2014, already has over 480 members aged 4-19 years taking part in weekly activities. For more information visit www.chilternmusicacademy.org
