A book-signing with a twist in the tail took place in Gerrards Cross on Saturday.
South Bucks' very own canine celebrity - 'Doug the Pug' - was on hand to paw-print copies his new book, 'Doug the Pug - A Working Dog's Tale', at the Gerrards Cross Book Shop on Packhorse Road.
Doug, who lives with his owner, Cate Archer, in Beaconsfield, works through the Saunderton-based charity Pets As Therapy making weekly visits to pupils at Chalfont St. Giles infant and junior schools and well as residents at Pratt House care home in Amersham.
The 'signing' took place from 11am-12pm will all royalties from the sale of Doug's book going directly to Pets As Therapy.
