Wycombe High School’s team of student Development Ambassadors are hosting a fundraising Zumba night.

The event hopes to raise money for the Play your Part Sport Campaign which will see them get a new dual all-weather pitch facility, promoting sport within the school as well as the wider community, if they reach their goal.

The ‘Zumba with Anisha G’ class will be led by instructor, former student and hockey player Anisha Gangotra.

Anisha says: “I’m so excited to be doing this Zumba fundraiser for the all-weather pitch at Wycombe High.

"I spent many years playing hockey for the school so it will be great for the pupils and local community to have access to this much needed facility.”

Anisha comes from a generous family, her sister is an ambassador for the Multiple Sclerosis Society and Sue Ryder and was named Woman of the Year in 2015 for her contribution to MS Charities.

In 2015 Anisha nominated her sister, Trishna Bharadia, to participate in The People’s Strictly for Comic Relief and Trishna was chosen out of thousands of nominations.

So far Wycombe High School has raised £225,000 out of £600,000 towards the development of the first of two pitches.
